Our mornings are getting cooler and the leaves are changing. A couple of weekends ago we enjoyed probably one of our last warm weekends. We went to the park and played croquet and then we went to a local ice cream place called Jimmy Cone. Everyone in Damascus swears that it is the best, but I don't really like it. The kids loved it!

I'm going to miss summer but there are so many fun things about fall that I'm looking forward to. It's weird to see your kids wearing long sleeves already. Mack and I went for a walk this morning in t-shirts and shorts and I was sweating!
I'm with Bec, I love me some ice cream... even coffee flavored.
I agree with Shelly that it's funny to see your kids in long sleeves! I put on a long sleeved shirt the other day, I'm really anxious for fall, and I had to change to a t-shirt right away! Enjoy the nice fall weather!
we are going to the water park today :) it is the final day for the water to be on...so we gotta get it while we can :) i dont think we will need long sleeves for awhile

It was actually a warm day...my kids are just weird (wearing shorts in the winter and long sleeves in the summer, etc)It isn't cold yet...just cool enough that I need to dress Ryan in more than just a onesie when we walk Leah to the bus stop in the morning
I am looking forward to being able to wear a sweater. Mostly because I'm still runnig hot. Prego girl needs cooler temps. And I wish we could still watch the colors change. We miss that being here. But we miss you guys too. Enjoy all the wonders of fall. I will when it finally comes.
Fall is my absolute favorite time of year! I just love the feeling in the air too! Enjoy some of those changing colors for me and I'll enjoy the hundred degree weather for you. Or maybe not!:) I love that you have pictures of yourself in your blog posts. I love to see the families of my old friend, but I like to see my old friends more!

I just wanted to say thank you for your encouragement :) Sometimes I feel so discouraged that there are people out there in large numbers that don't agree with morals and values, but then when someone like you steps up to reaffirm that we are all in this together, fighting for what's right, it's really comforting. Thank you so much for your kind words. I told my husband this morning that it's people like you that make standing up for what's right, that much more worth it :) Your children are adorable by the way! ;)
