Corner Gas is a Canadian show that comes on pretty late on WGN...I used to do all my studying after the kids went to bed and then afterward I would watch Scrubs and it came on right after. It is very clean and silly about a small town. It is centered around a gas station owner, a diner owner and the regulars and the local cops...it is just silly.
My scripture plan is something we decided to try after reading an article in the Aug Ensign. The article had some tips on applying the scriptures in your life...we just do one of the tips-we keep a scripture journal. So we read a page a night and then write down the answers to 2 questions; what principle is being taught, and how can we apply it in our lives?
Obviously it is so hard to gather everyone and read, but we do it at least Sun-Thurs-the weekend is harder because we don't have a set bedtime. It only takes about 15 minutes and it is really working out great. The kids love that we start by singing "Scripture Power" and we all have our own set of scriptures (except for Ryan). If Leah and Ryan are not reverent for that time, they can't participate. Kicking Leah out of our room for a couple of minutes was enough to get her to calm down and want to be part of it. I don't know if I will have that rule when the kids are teens. :)
After a week of doing it, Dallan said that he can't wait to read and that he loves doing it. That is evidence enough that this is really working!

Man, your scripture study plan sounds great! If I were there I'd give you a pat on the back and Gregg would say "high five" like Puddy on Seinfeld.

I can't wait to hear about UNLV... is there any kind of time frame on when you can expect the letter?

Allison! Your blog is way cute and it's so fun to see your kids! Even though we haven't kept in much contact over the years, I think about you often and remember the wacky times we had together as teenagers! You're awesome!

Hey Allison, I got your comment about my handbags. That #14 is a popular bag. I don't have one right now, but I will let you know if I can make another. The large totes are about 16" x 10". Perfect church bag or diaper bag size. Thanks for looking! Natalie Kephart

Al,
I think I missed your tag, but it might be Brad's fault. He was home last week with a bad back and on top of the email. So think he may have done something with it. So I will write it down and post it asap. Thanks it's my first tag so this should be interesting.
