MS walkathon

Our family raised $140 for the MS walkathon. We had a great time walking 3 miles around downtown DC. It was supposed to rain, but it didn't and it turned out to be such a beautiful. The annual cherry blossom festival was going on at that time, so it was beautiful. After the walk, we got some free subway and then rode the subway home.

Good job guys, that's awesome! Can't wait to see the cherry blossoms when we get there!

That is so cool that you guys are just a subway ride away from downtown DC. So many people that live in this country never get the opportunity to visit its capital. I wish we could get back there.

Ashley, things bloom really fast and I am not sure that things will be white and pink. They might have already begun to turn green. Either way it is still the perfect time of year to visit the east coast.
Dave, You guys are welcom to visit any time.
FYI we did not get accepted to any dental school so we will be here at least another year. Probably until the end of next summer.

I think the coolest thing about our trip to the city was that we were able to get our lunch and then use it as a conveyance to get home. Man, we're resourceful! Get it? Subway the restaraunt and subway the train... Allison may want to rethink adding me as ablogger here.
